Gymnastics Takes Fifth at ECAC Championships

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn gymnastics team finished in fifth place at the ECAC Championships with a score of 190.225, Saturday at Temple's McGonigle Hall. Towson University earned its sixth consecutive ECAC title accruing a 192.725, which topped second-place William and Mary's 190.800.

Freshman Dana Bonincontri took the uneven bars title with her score of 9.800. The freshman also earned fourth on beam with a 9.700 and in the all-around with a 38.350.

Freshman Kirsten Strausbaugh also had a strong showing, tying for fifth on bars with a 9.700, and earned sixth in the all-around with her 38.225.
