Freshman Alex Ion won a team-high nine singles and seven doubles matches. Ion won Columbia Invitational Flight B singles and advanced to the semifinals at Cissie Leary. She advanced to the Round of 32 in singles and Round of 16 in doubles at the ITA Regional.

Alex Ion
As a freshman, Alex Ion won 18 singles and 11 doubles matches. She won eight of her first nine collegiate matches and eight of her first 11 in the spring. Ion also had another five-match winning streak during the spring and had a singles victory against Cornell.
