PHILADELPHIA - The Ivy League has announced its 2012 All-Ivy teams in the sport of men's lacrosse, and Penn senior defensive midfielder Will Koshansky was a second-team honoree. This is the second year in a row that Koshansky has been named second-team All-Ivy in a row.
A preseason Inside Lacrosse honorable mention All-America and a draft pick of Major League Lacrosse's Boston Cannons, Koshansky finished 2012 the season with 16 caused turnovers and 24 ground balls. A long-stick middie, he also scored a goal (against Lehigh) and assisted on another (against Virginia). An
Princeton's Tyler Fiorito is this year's Ivy League Player of the Year, while Cornell's Matt Donovan is the Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
Playing the toughest schedule in the nation, Penn finished the season with a 3-10 overall record -- losing four one-goal games -- and went 1-5 in Ivy play.
