Erin Power
Position: Volunteer Coach

Former Penn standout, Erin Power, returns to the Quakers in a coaching capacity where she will serve as a volunteer assistant coach for the 2012-13 season.

Power started 49 games in her final two seasons at Penn, including all 27 games she played in during her senior season under head coach Mike McLaughlin. In her final season, she helped guide the Red and Blue to the largest single-season turnaround in school history and helped the Quakers post their first win over a Big 5 opponent in more than six seasons.

As a sophomore, Power, a guard, led the Ivy League in assist-to-turnover ratio. Her 97 assists that season were a team-high and ranked fourth in the Ivy League. Also as a sophomore, she led the Quakers in rebounding, field goal percentage, steals and blocks.

During her only season under Coach McLaughlin, Power finished second in the Ivy League in steals and minutes played. She was fourth in the Ivies in rebounding and eighth in assists. She finished first among starters in field goal percentage, was tops on the team in rebounds, assists and steals, and was second among Quakers in blocks and minutes played.

A native of Elmwood Park, Ill., Power graduated from Penn with a degree in health and societies in 2011. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree at Penn in the School of Social Policy and Practice.
