LANCASTER, PA. – It was another tough result for the No. 13 Penn squash team (3-5, 0-2 Ivy) as it dropped its third straight match on the season. The Quakers fell to seventh-ranked Franklin & Marshall (5-3), 8-1, at the Mayser Squash Center in Lancaster, Pa. on Wednesday night.

It was also the second straight match in which Penn managed just one win, and both times that win belonged to Tyler Odell (6-2, 1-1). The freshman earned his sixth collegiate victory in another five-game thriller at No. 8. Another Quaker highlight was Justin Ang (0-1) who played well in his season debut at No. 9, but dropped his match, 3-1, after winning the first game then losing the next three.

The Red and Blue are now 35-11 all-time against F&M, so the loss does not put much of a dent in the all-time series, but as the season progresses, they are now two games under .500 with their next match against No. 2 Trinity looming.

Penn will welcome the Bantams to the Ringe Squash Courts for their next match on Jan. 19 at noon as they look to get back into the win column and work toward their postseason goals.
