PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team will continue the fall portion of its season this Sunday and Monday, competing in the Harvard Invitational. The event will be held at The Bay Club in Mattapoisett, Mass. This will be the third of four tournaments the women are competing in this fall.
Penn’s lineup will feature senior Michelle Lee, making her fall debut; junior Amanda Chin; and the freshmen Sophia Chen, Marissa Kay and Isabella Rahm. Another freshman, Erin Lo, will be in the field as an individual.
“We are looking forward to Harvard's event,” said Penn’s head coach, Mark Anderson. “We have had two weeks to practice since our last tournament, and the team has worked hard on ball striking and short game. They have also put in some good time over the past few (rainy) days at our new indoor practice center at Penn. I am looking for a strong finish from the team and for one or more of our team members to contend for the individual title.”
