PHILADELPHIA – Junior Duke Lacroix was named second-team All-Region by the NSCAA, becoming Penn’s first All-Region selection since Christian Barreiro and Thomas Brandt earned the honors in 2011.
The Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year and a unanimous first-team All-Ivy choice at forward, Lacroix was second among Ivy players in both goals (8) and points (19) as he posted career highs in both categories. Through three seasons with the Red and Blue, Lacroix has posted 18 goals and nine assists for 45 points. He has been named All-Ivy each of his three seasons, earning honorable mention accolades in 2011 and second-team All-Ivy honors in 2012. In 2011, Lacroix was named Ivy League Rookie of the Year.
With his Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year award this season and his Rookie of the Year award in 2011, Lacroix became the sixth player in Ivy history to earn both awards over the course of his career.
