PHILADELPHIA – With four member of the University of Pennsylvania women’s squash team still competing, the College Squash Association (CSA) individual championships rolled into their third and final day on Sunday.

In the Ramsay Cup division (top-32 ranked players) second round consolation bracket, sophomore Yan Xin Tan and freshman Michelle Wong had advanced to play each other in the final Sunday morning. After dropping the first game 11-6 to Wong, Tan won three straight games 12-10, 11-5, 11-8 to claim the consolation final.

Two Penn players would also meet in the Holleran Cup division (players ranked #33-80) main draw semifinals on Sunday morning with junior Leslie Gill squaring off against senior Chloe Blacker. Gill managed to defeat Blacker in four games, winning 12-10, 11-4, 9-11, 11-8.

In the Holleran Cup final Gill would face Yale freshman Shiyuan Mao. The Quakers Gill took the first game 12-10, before falling in three games, 11-5, 11-6, 11-6.

Gill went 5-1 in CSA individual championship play and finished as the Holleran Cup division runner-up.
