Head Coach Al Bagnoli
On the offensive performance:
"We did a lot of good things. We've been doing a lot of good things, and just to put things in context, they are the defense that held Maryland to seven points. They're a good defensive team. Obviously we dug ourselves a bit of a hole, and we hurt ourselves on some kicking plays. I thought our kids really hung in there, but you can't make these kinds of mistakes against these kinds of schools. And that's what the problem is. So you almost have to play perfect, it's no different than playing against Villanova and it's hard to do against those kinds of athletes. But you have to focus on the positive, our kids never give up. We moved the ball, we had a good gameplan, made some plays, and a lot of things good football teams need to do. But we made some mistakes in critical areas and gave up some points that put us behind, and that we were never able to climb out of. "
Senior QB Billy Ragone
On the offense:
"I thought offensively we kind of struggled in the first half to get some momentum going. I thought in the second half we came out with high energy and a good mix of run and pass, and I thought the offensive line did a great job both run and pass blocking. I thought that our playmakers made some plays, running and catching after contact and got some third downs that were big for us. It was good to see some of those things happen. There is still some room for improvement, we'll look at the film heading into the Ivy League schedule and tighten everything up."
Senior DL Brandon Copeland
On the defense:
"We definitely gave up some points and we want to be a lot better but it's just everyone needs to focus on their job, make the tackles when you get there and hit the ground running tomorrow - get to practice do the work correctly, and be ready for next week, start rollin'."
