Box Score (PDF) Travis Cantrell scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season for the Quakers right before halftime, cutting Penn's deficit in half. Cantrell positioned himself in perfect space at the top of the box, allowing an Alex Reddy pass to be deposited just inside the far post in the 43rd minute. Cantrell's goal came just ten minutes after Dartmouth took a two-goal lead via a Robin Almas header in the 33rd minute. Almas finished a set piece for the Big Green, heading in a corner kick. Dartmouth had taken an early lead in teh seventh minute off a Patrick Murray header from Brian Joseff. The Quakers had nine shots in the second half, but were unable to find the tying marker. Instead, it was Dartmouth which scored -- an Andoni Georgiou strike from 18 yards out off an Alex Adelabu pass in the 76th minute. The Quakers are now 2-10-0 this season and are back in action next weekend at Yale with a start time of 3 p.m. |
