Head Coach Jerome Allen
On motivating the team at the half:
"I try to encourage and motivate them, and discipline them and make sure they pay attention to details. We had to score 34 points. At halftime we talked about the good and the bad. The good was that we had to score 34 points; the bad was that we had 15 turnovers, and we gave up 11 offensive rebounds. I tried to present that information to them and tell them to play with a sense of urgency."
Junior Guard Miles Cartwright
On the comeback win:
"Its big for us. We went into halftime and were talking about tightening up our defensive principles and I thought we came up in the second half and played hard. We tried to execute our offensive flexibility. I think that is really good for our confidence. We should not have been in that situation but when the time came we bunkered down and got it done."
Sophomore Guard Patrick Lucas-Perry
On the difference in halves:
"When we came out, obviously we were flat. I think the thing that makes us unique is that we are so deep as a team. If we just lock in as a defense I really don't see why we couldn't have played like that in the start of the second half and throughout the whole game."
