PHILADELPHIA - For the second time this season, the University of Pennsylvania women's track and field team will head to Rauch Fieldhouse in Bethlehem, Pa., for an invitational at Lehigh on Saturday.

The meet will start at 10 a.m. when several field events get underway. The first event on the track is the 5,000 meters at 11 a.m. The meet is set to conclude with the 4x400-meter relay at 4:15 p.m.

The Quakers opened the 2012-13 campaign at Rauch Fieldhouse in December where they posted six victories, highlighted by the fourth-best shot put in school history from Theresa Picciallo in her collegiate debut. Picciallo and senior Charlotte Pope claimed the top two spots in the shot put. In her first meet as a collegian, Picciallo earned the victory with a toss of 13.75 meters (45 feet, 1 1/2 inches). Sophomore Annie Holland won the high jump, senior Jillian Hart won the pole vault and freshman Eliana Yankelev was tops in the long jump. Junior Gabrielle Piper won the 60-meter hurdles and was the runner-up in the 60 meters, while sophomore Shakele Seaton posted her first collegiate victory in the 500 meters.

Last week, Picciallo topped that effort with the school record in the shot put to lead Penn to a second-place team finish at College Night at the Armory in New York City. It landed at 14.11 meters (46 feet, 3 1/2 inches) to break a 15-year-old Penn record. In addition to Picciallo, the 4x800-meter relay team and freshman Elyssa Gensib also posted victories for the Quakers.

A full recap will be available at PennAthletics.com shortly after the conclusion of the meet.
