CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Despite having already played Harvard earlier this season, the University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team couldn’t come up with a win against the No. 31 Crimson, falling 4-0 at the Murr Center Tennis Courts. The Quakers have dropped three Ivy contests in a row and are now 2-3 in the League.

After taking the doubles point against Dartmouth yesterday, the Red and Blue were unable to come up with a win this time. Senior co-captain Nikola Kocovic and freshman Matt Nardella kept the Crimson from claiming the sweep defeating the nation’s 15-ranked pair – Denis Nguyen and Casey MacMaster -- at the No. 1 spot in a tight battle, 8-7.

Nguyen, ranked as the 39th singles player in the nation, came back in the singles matches, defeating Kocovic in two sets (6-1, 6-3).

Junior Jeremy Court and Nardella were the next two to fall, dropping both of their matches in two sets.

Penn returns to Philadelphia to prepare for a contest on Friday with the leader in the Leauge, Columbia. The match on Friday will be the last home match for the Quakers and it is set to begin at 2 p.m.
