PHILADELPHIA - They're back! The 2013-14 Ivy League champions returned to the University of Pennsylvania campus in preparation of their Italy tour in mid-August. On the team's first day back, the coaching staff handed out their Ivy League championship rings.

The coaching staff sent the graduating seniors their rings ahead of the meeting and then had all four on Skype for the event.

The rings include eight diamonds, and the logos of Penn, the Ivy League and the NCAA. They are individually enscribed with each player's name and number. More pictures of the ring can be found on the team's twitter and Instagram accounts.

Penn clinched its first Ivy League title and NCAA Tournament berth since 2003-04 with an 80-64 win at Princeton on the final day of the regular season. The Quakers (22-6, 12-2 Ivy) tied a school record for wins in a season and earned the outright championship with the second-best league mark in program history.

Also last season, the Quakers earned their first win over an ACC opponent, tied a school record with two Big 5 wins, matched the best two-year stretch in school history with 40 wins (1999-01) and earned back-to-back postseason appearances for the first time. The Red and Blue led fifth-seeded Texas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament by as many as 15 and by seven at the half before falling 79-61.

The team will be in Italy, Aug. 11-21 and play three games against European opponents. The Quakers will also get a chance to tour several Italian cities including Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan. PennAthletics.com will have full coverage of the team's Italian trip.

The Quakers announced their season opener will be at Tennessee on Nov. 14. A full 2014-15 schedule will be unveiled later this summer.
