When the Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics mandated in 2006 that all of its sports create organized alumni groups called Sports Boards, we gave them a three-pronged organizational structure. The first is Alumni Relations and Events Planning, the second is Development, and the last is Mentoring and Networking.
We are now very happy to welcome you to the new Penn Athletics Mentoring Network (PAMNet). For alumni, this platform will allow you to re-connect with former teammates, meet other former Penn Athletes, and help current student-athletes find internships, jobs, and advise them in their post-collegiate aspirations. For current student-athletes, this platform will help you find like-minded Penn Athletics alumni, who have been where you are today and are willing to help you as you move forward in your professional life.To get started, click here: PAMNet then follow these instructions: - At the top right, click the "Click here to sign up" link to start the process - Fill in the fields of the first page, by entering your email and preferred password - On the next page, fill out the basics of your profile - your name, sports at Penn, etc. - Once you do this, our staff will verify that you are affiliated with Penn, and you'll be approved within 24 hours
Spread the word to your teammates, coaches, and fellow alumni! The more members, the more effective this program will be.
As you watch the membership grow, fill out your profile with:
- your education history
- job history
- Penn sports you're interested in
- interests and areas of expertise
Once you've done all this, please start to interact with the site. Start a blog, post some pictures, start or join a group (e.g. Penn Football Alumni, Penn Track Alumni in Finance, etc.).
As we go through this process, let us know if there is anything about the site or process that you think needs changes or can be better.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Development Office at 215.898.4717
