Penn Park/Multidimensional Amphitheater

Directions to Penn Park/Multidimensional Amphitheater

Built as part of Penn Park and opened in September 2011, the Multidimensional Amphitheater is the new home of the Penn softball program.

Located at the East end of campus, in the shadow of the Philadelphia city skyline to the Northeast and Franklin Field to the Southwest, the field features a synthetic outfield and Hilltopper as the infield sod. The two dugouts are designed for varsity softball contests. There is seating for 450 people in chairbacks and an additional 300 people around the fencing of the field. The press box and raised seating area provides a venue for outdoor activities, and the field is equipped with lights for night games. The Theater is surrounded by pedestrian paths, providing a park-like setting that is connected to the core of Penn's campus.

The dimensions of the Multidimensional Amphitheater are 195 feet to left and right field, and 210 feet to dead center field.

The facility is handicap accessible, and public restrooms are available at the immediate facility.
