New Haven, Conn. - The #9-ranked women's fencing team turned in two strong performances on Sunday to close out the Ivy League Round Robins at 3-3, good enough for a fourth place finish out of seven competing teams. Princeton was the champion with a 6-0 record while Columbia finished in second at 5-1.

In the first bout of the day, Penn moved past Cornell, 17-10. It was a rare time where foil seemed to struggle, but saber (6-3) and epee (7-2) picked up the slack in the win. Amrit Bhinder and Dominika Franciszkowicz each went 3-0 against the Big Red on their way to perfect records on Sunday.

Later on, the Quakers, again with Bhinder and Franciszkowicz coming through, discarded Yale by a score of 20-7. All three weapons picked up wins and Luona Wang joined the pair of upperclassmen in going 3-0 in foil against the Bulldogs.

Wang's overall record of 13-4 was the second best among all foilists and earned her First Team All-Ivy honors. Sarah Parmacek (foil) and Bhinder (epee) each were named to the Second Team All-Ivy.

The Quakers have next weekend off and will return to action on Sunday, Feb. 26 at the U.S. Collegiate Weapon Squad Championships.
