PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania will host another men's basketball game in the CBI Presented by Zebra Pen, and the opponent brings some big-name recognition due to the last few years. The Quakers' second-round opponent? Butler, the runner-up in each of the last two NCAA Tournaments.
Penn (20-12) and Butler (21-14), out of the Horizon League, will tip off Monday night at 8 p.m. at The Palestra. The game will be televised by HDNet.
Because the game is taking place on a Monday, the Penn Athletics Ticket Office will be open on Sunday to take orders, both in-person and over the phone (215-898-6151). As a reminder, fans can also buy tickets online at PennAthletics.com, which now features a Print At Home option!
Chairback seats will be $10 for the game, and can only be purchased by contacting the Athletic Ticket Office via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or phone. General admission tickets will be $5.
Penn students, faculty and staff will be admitted to Monday's game for free. Students can pick up their tickets in advance on Locust Walk Thursday, Friday and Monday. Faculty and staff should contact the Ticket Office for information on how to get their free tickets.
Penn advanced to the second round with a 74-63 win over Quinnipiac on Wednesday night, while Butler advanced with a 75-58 win over Delaware in Indianapolis.
