Ithaca, N.Y. - A pair of late wins in singles weren't enough for the Penn men's tennis team on Friday, as Cornell claimed a 5-2 win over the Quakers at the Reis Tennis Center.

After falling behind 1-0 on the doubles point, Penn couldn't make up the difference in singles as Cornell reeled off three straight-set wins at Nos. 4, 5 and 6 to assure itself of victory. Jeremy Court, Nikola Kocovic and Rob Wong each split their first two sets against their Big Red opposition. With the outcome already determined, each played a super-tiebreaker to determine the match winner, with Court and Wong coming out on top.

Court, playing at No. 1 for the first time in his career, continued his undefeated streak in the Ivy League to move to 6-0 against the Ancient Eight while winning his tenth match in a row overall.
