PHILADELPHIA - The National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Teams for Division I, II & III have been announced, with a total of 602 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor. Penn rising junior Michelle Lee is among that group.
Lee recently completed her sophomore year at Penn, and had a 79.0 stroke average over 17 tournament rounds with a collegiate-low 71 at the ECU Lady Pirate Intercollegiate in the fall. A first-team All-Ivy honoree as a freshman due to her fifth-place finish at the Ivy League Championships, Lee finished tied for 15th at this year's Championships as Penn took second place as a team.
The criteria for selection to the NGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
