PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's rowing program hits its busiest weekend of the fall campaign. The Quakers will put two boats out at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, and then Sunday's Princeton Chase will see a full flotilla of Penn boats in action.
"We are really excited to put all the hard work as a team to the test this weekend," said head coach Mike Lane. "We will have multiple racing opportunities as long as the weather holds out. We also want to make sure we impress our alums during our homecoming weekend.
"We are also very proud of our novice rowers, many of them this will be the first race for," Lane noted. "I can't wait to see them in action!"
