PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team lost to Princeton, 3-0, on Saturday night at the Tigers' Roberts Stadium.

Penn fell to 2-13-0 overall, 0-6-0 in Ivy League play with the loss.

Princeton (7-6-2, 3-1-2 Ivy League) drew first blood in the 34th minute, when Thomas Sanner took a pass from Cameron Porter and put his shot just inside the left post to beat Penn goalkeeper Max Kurtzman.

The Tigers doubled their lead early in the second half. Myles McGinley hit a shot from the top right corner of the box that beat Kurtzman. Sanner was credited with an assist on the goal.

Princeton made it 3-0 at 75:44 when Mark Linnville headed home a corner kick from Joe Saitta.

Princeton outshot Penn in the match, 12-8, as Kurtzman made four saves. At the other end, Max Gallin made four stops.

Penn will close out the season next Saturday at Harvard. The Quakers and Crimson will kick off at 7 p.m. at Rhodes Field.
