PHILADELPHIA – Penn (4-10, 1-7 Ivy) saw its regular season come to a close on Senior Day, Sunday in Philadelphia. The Quakers fell, 7-2, to fifth-ranked Cornell (15-3, 5-2) in a match that saw Penn win early and late, but not in the middle. Senior captain Danny Greenberg (3-11, 0-7) played his final collegiate match at the Ringe Squash Courts, and exited the court to a standing ovation at the completion of his match. Greenberg’s match was the third-to-last to finish on the night, and he fell at No. 1 to Nick Sachvie in three games. The other two matches on the main court were at the second and third positions. Derek Chilvers (3-11, 1-6) and John Dudzik (3-11, 1-6) each fell in straight games to their Big Red opponents. The middle of Penn’s ladder was swept as well. Augie Frank (3-11, 1-6) at the fourth position, Liam Quinn (5-9, 1-6) at No. 5 and Michael Mutscheller (1-10, 0-4) at six, all fell in three games. The bottom of the ladder was where the Red and Blue succeeded, as they took two of the three matches. Daniel Judd (8-5, 4-3) started off the day for Penn at No. 9, and he took his match with ease over Matthew Shang in three games. Tyler Odell (9-5, 4-3) battled hard at the eighth position, but ultimately fell after five long games. Jack Maine (7-7, 3-4) finished the day strong for the Quakers, winning his match at No. 7 in four very close games. Penn will now take two weeks off before they compete again at the CSA Team Championships in New Haven, Conn. from Feb. 22-24. Full Results No. 1: Nick
