BEDMINSTER, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team got stellar play from sophomore Amanda Chin and senior Isabel Han, and is in third place after Friday's first-round action at the Ivy League Championships. The event will continue tomorrow and Sunday at Trump National Bedminster, which is playing at par-72 for the weekend.

Chin shot a 71 on Friday, the only player to finish under par, and holds a two-stroke lead over Harvard's Christine Lin and Princeton's Kelly Shon. Han carded a first-round 75 and is fifth in the 35-player field.

As a team, Penn shot 310 and is behind Harvard (304) and Princeton (307). Columbia is fourth (313) with Yale fifth, Brown sixth and Dartmouth seventh.

Olivia Chang shot an 80 and is tied for 18th overall, while Michelle Lee carded an 84 and is tied for 25th. Senior Allison Oakes shot 85 and is 30th.
