PHILADELPHIA – The men and women of the University of Pennsylvania cross country teams will compete in the Main Line Invitational hosted by Haverford College on Thursday. Penn will see fellow Big 5 rivals La Salle and Villanova as well as other programs from the Philadelphia region. The Haverford men have been tabbed in the Centennial Conference preseason coaches’ poll as the number one cross country team; the women are ranked second.
