PHILADELPHIA – After the finishing the season with regular season, 8-4 and 4-3 in the Ivy League, the eighth-ranked University of Pennsylvania men’s squash team will play in the College Squash Association’s (CSA) Potter Cup this coming weekend in Boston.

The Quakers return to the top-flight of the CSA Team National Championships for the first time since 2009.

As the eighth-ranked team in the country, Penn will square off against No. 1 Harvard (15-0, 7-0 Ivy) in its first match, Friday at 11:30 p.m. The Crimson defeated the Quakers earlier this season, 9-0, in Cambridge, Mass. in January. Penn will either see No. 4 St. Lawrence (10-3) or No. 5 Franklin and Marshall in the next round of play.

The Red and Blue’s strength all season has been the depth of their lineup. Co-captains John Dudzik and Jack Maine have led a young Penn ladder that has featured three sophomores (Tyler Odell, Liam Quinn, Augie Frank) and three freshman (Rahil Fazelbhoy, George Lemmon, Benton Turner) at different times throughout the season. The Quakers lineup also features senior Derek Chilvers and junior Michael Mutscheller, both whom have delivered quality wins throughout the year.
