BOSTON - The University of Pennsylvania men's squash team fell to No. 1 Harvard, 9-0, in the first round of the College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championships on Friday.

Eighth-ranked Penn (8-5), playing in the top-flight Potter Cup for the first time since 2009, dropped its second match of the season to top-ranked Harvard (16-0), losing by the same score in January.

The Quakers were able to press the issue against the Crimson in several games, with senior John Dudzik and sophomore Tyler Odell forcing their first games past 11, but were unable to break through, losing 12-10. Juniors Jack Maine and Michael Mutscheller were able to push a game to the limit, before falling, 11-9.

The Quakers will now play in the consolation semifinals beginning Saturday at 12 p.m. Penn will face, No. 4 St. Lawrence, N.Y. (10-4), who fell to No. 5 Franklin & Marshall, 5-4.
