PHILADELPHIA - The Ivy League has announced its weekly award winners in men's lacrosse, and for the second time in three weeks University of Pennsylvania senior goalie Brian Feeney shares Player of the Week honors. This week, he shares the award with Princeton's Kip Orban.
Feeney earned his recognition after another standout performance in Penn's 8-7 overtime win against Harvard on Saturday. The senior made 13 saves while allowing just the seven goals, a .650 save percentage, as the Quakers came back from two goals down late in the fourth quarter to gain the victory.
Penn (6-3, 3-2 Ivy League) is ranked a season-best 10th in this week's USILA national coaches poll, which was released earlier today. The Quakers finish Ivy play at Dartmouth this Saturday, facing off with the Big Green at 1 p.m.
