Head Coach Al Bagnoli
On his team’s performance:

“If anything bothers me, we made a lot of mental mistakes. Formation mistakes, procedural mistakes, those kinds of things. But I thought our effort was great.  I can sleep very well knowing how hard our kids played.”

“I knew we were going to play against a good and explosive football team that was playing very well. About as efficient as an offensive team as we’ve seen all year. I knew we were not going to be able to make too many mistakes. In the first half, we made one or two, enough that it did drown us in the second half. We played with great effort, we just made a lot mistakes. Against a good team, efficient team, explosive team, you just can’t do that. And ultimately, that was our demise. I thought we had a good plan defensively. I thought we had a good plan offensively. We just made some mistakes. Some were mental. Some were physical. But the bottom line is you can’t do that against a good football team.”

Senior Quarterback Billy Ragone
On the bleek hopes of winning another Ivy title:

“It’s a tough pill to swallow. Sammy, Brandon and I came back to add one more and obviously we didn’t get it done. What’s done is done and I think that us three and the rest of the senior class are going to make sure that we don’t fold up the tents. We’re going to play hard these last couple games and go out on a high note.”

On whether his injury was a factor today:

“After the first play you just have to go out and settle down and play. My foot didn’t bother me throughout the game and I just made some mistakes with the ball, basically giving them seven free points. I just have to take better care of the football in these big games and I didn’t do that today.”
