PHILADELPHIA - Welcome and thank you for your interest in Penn track & field/cross country! A member of the Ivy League, the University of Pennsylvania boasts an unparalleled balance between academic and athletic excellence.
Nestled in the University City neighborhood just outside of downtown Philadelphia, Penn provides a tight-knit campus community which includes one of the most storied track and field programs in the nation.
Historic Franklin Field has served as the home of Penn track and field and the world's oldest and largest relay carnival, the Penn Relays, since 1895. A few steps away is Penn's modern and innovative indoor training facility at the brand-new Dunning-Cohen Seasonal Air Structure. The Quakers are also afforded the opportunity to practice and compete on the local trails of Philadelphia's renowned Fairmount Park system. Molded into the famed Franklin Field facade is the state-of-the art George A. Weiss Pavilion which houses Penn's nationally-acclaimed varsity weight room and athletic training center.
For those interested in becoming a part of the Penn tradition, a complete list of Penn's track and field recruiting standards are here: men and women. To continue the recruiting process, we encourage you to fill out our questionnaire, which can be found here.
