Release:  04/27/2014

PHILADELPHIA - Following Saturday's men's lacrosse results in the Ivy League, the University of Pennsylvania has learned its fate for the Ivy League Tournament this weekend.

The Ivy League Tournament will take place at Harvard, with the semifinals taking place on Friday and the final on Sunday. All games will be played in Harvard Stadium. (Harvard and Cornell tied for the Ivy title, both with 5-1 records, but the Crimson earned the right to host by winning the head-to-head meeting with the Big Red.)

In Friday's first semi, Penn will be the third seed and face the No. 2 seed, Cornell. The Quakers and the Big Red will face off at 5 p.m. Following that, the top-seeded Crimson will host Yale at approximately 8 p.m. Friday's winners will meet in the Ivy League Tournament final Sunday at noon.

Friday's semifinal games will air on ESPN3.com, with the final airing live on ESPNU.

Tickets for Friday's semifinals will be $15 for adults, $10 for youths; for Sunday's final, tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youths. People can also buy an all-session ticket that is $20 for adults and 10 for youths. Ivy League undergrad students will be allowed in free to all games.

Cornell easily handled Penn on March 22, 17-9, in a game that was played on Adams Field in Penn Park. The loss seemed to awaken the Quakers; they have not lost since then, the current six-game streak the longest by a Penn team since the 2006 squad started its season 6-0.
