Update: The Penn baseball team will now travel to Wagner on Friday, Oct. 10, to face the Seahawks at 12 p.m. at Richmond County Bank Ballpark on Staten Island.

On Saturday, the alumni dinner will be moved inside to the Assembly Room in Hutchinson Gymnasium due to anticipated inclement weather. A decision on the alumni game will be determined that day.

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania baseball team is pleased to announce its annual Alumni Weekend, featuring Dinner on the Diamond, will take place on Saturday, October 11 at Meiklejohn Stadium.

Now in its sixth year, the all-day event will feature an alumni game between current Quaker players and former Penn baseball greats. Attendees will then break, and return to the field in the early evening for a cocktail hour followed by dinner. A silent auction will also take place during the evening activities.

Serving as one of the main fundraisers for the team, the Dinner on the Diamond event brings together current and former Quakers in a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Those attending will be seated on the Meiklejohn Stadium field from home plate extending to the outfield and will be served buffet-style by the current members of Penn baseball in full Quaker gear.

The Penn baseball team will follow up Dinner on the Diamond with a game during the late morning on Sunday, featuring the Quakers against visiting Wagner at Meiklejohn Stadium. The game is one of two Penn will play this fall, with Georgetown visiting the Quakers the following Sunday, October 19. Exact start times for both games will be announced at a later date.
