The Quakers are the only Ivy League institution in the field which also includes two teams from the host Patriots as well as Delaware, Drexel, Hofstra, IUPUI, James Madison, Lafayette, Longwood, Missouri and Towson. They will play 36 holes on Saturday, and a final 18 on Sunday.
Penn's lineup will feature senior P.J. Fielding; junior Max Marsico; sophomores Ben Cooley and Austin Powell; and freshman P.J. Collier. Two other players will be in the field as individuals -- sophomore Tomas Agrest, and senior Colin St. Maxens who makes his 2012-13 debut.
"We are almost back to full strength with Max back in the lineup this week and Colin returning from a wrist injury to play as an individual," said Head Coach Bob Heintz. "This tournament will give Colin a chance to make some swings under pressure again and knock some of the rust off his game. If all goes well, he could find his way back into our top 5 for the Big 5 Championship in two weeks.
"We certainly have reason to be optimistic about this weekend's tournament since we are coming off a strong performance at Rehoboth Beach," he continued. "With the exception of a marginal weather forecast, it should be a great weekend of golf on a fine course in Laurel Hill."
