PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's golf team had another strong finish at the Lady Pirate Intercollegiate hosted by East Carolina on Monday and Tuesday. After making the long trip back from North Carolina, it's back in the van and another long trip -- this time the destination is the Boston area and the inaugural Harvard Invitational.

The 36-hole tournament will be played at The International, a course in Bolton, Mass.  Teams are scheduled to play 18 holes on Saturday and 18 on Sunday. Perhaps more important to the Penn players -- and their coach -- will be the other teams in the field. After seeing some Ivy teams at their first event in Princeton, and some others at their second event (Yale), the Quakers will tee off with the seven other Ivy League teams this weekend in Bolton.

"The Ivy League Championships take place in April, but if there was an Ivy League championship event for the fall this would be it," said head coach Mark Anderson. "All eight schools will be there, so this will give us a nice chance to see where we stand among our conference opponents."

Penn's lineup this weekend will feature junior Tiffany Cheung, sophomores Isabel Han and Elizabeth Kresock, and freshmen Michelle Lee and Rui Li.
