PHILADELPHIA - After more than two weeks away from competition, the Penn women's golf team will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule this Monday and Tuesday at the University of Richmond's Spider Invitational. The 54-hole event will take place at the Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Va. Teams will play 36 holes Monday and a final 18 on Tuesday.

Most recently, the Quakers finished third at the de facto fall championship event for the Ivy League teams, the Harvard Invitational. Penn finished third in the seven-team field. This week, the Red and Blue will see no conference competition.

"I expect the team to do very well in Richmond," said head coach Mark Anderson. "We finished third last year, and the way this team is playing, they should be tough to beat. This is our last event for the fall, and I know the team would love to accomplish our goal of winning a tournament as a team and having one of our players win individually."

Penn's lineup this weekend will feature junior Tiffany Cheung, sophomore Isabel Han, and freshmen Olivia Chang, Michelle Lee and Rui Li. Sophomore Elizabeth Kresock will play as an individual.
