Women's Golf Dominates OMNI Intercollegiate |

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Penn women's golf team thoroughly dominated a six-team field Friday and Saturday at the OMNI Financial Intercollegiate, shooting 296-300--596 and defeating second-place Wittenberg by more than 70 strokes. Individually, the Quakers placed women in each of the top five spots. The group was led by sophomore Isabel Han, who shot 71-70--141 to finish at 3-under-par 141 and claim medalist honors. She was followed by freshman Michelle Lee, who shot 75-73--148 and finished second overall. Elizabeth Kresock was third overall, carding a collegiate-low 73 in the first round and following up with a 79 to finish at 152 for the tournament. Olivia Chang was fourth (77-81--158), while Tiffany Cheung shot 79-80--159 to tie Wittenberg's Mary Eighmy for fifth overall. The Penn women have returned from spring break and will open the spring season with the C&F Bank Intercollegiate this weekend in Williamsburg, Va. |
