SUFFERN, N.Y. - The Penn women's golf team is in second place after Friday action at the Roar-ee Invitational, being hosted by Columbia University at the par-72 Spook Rock Golf Club.

The Quakers shot 309 as a team in Friday's round and are four shots behind Fairleigh Dickinson. Siena College is third (312) while Lehigh is fourth (314). The other Ivy teams in the field, Columbia and Dartmouth, are fifth and sixth, respectively.

Individually, freshman Michelle Lee carded a 1-over-par 73 on Friday and is second overall behind Lehigh's Crystal Lee (70). Isabel Han and Elizabeth Kresock are tied for ninth at 78, while Olivia Chang shot an 80 and is tied for 18th. Tiffany Cheung carded 82 and is tied for 30th.

The tournament will conclude with a second round on Saturday. It will be Penn's last tournament round before next weekend's Ivy League Championships.
