Women's Golf Drops to Fourth After Day 2 at Ivies

BEDMINSTER, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team dropped to fourth place at the Ivy League Championships on Saturday. The Quakers shot 319 as a team on the Trump National Bedminster course and are at 629 through two rounds. The final round will be played Sunday.

Harvard is atop the leaderboard, shooting a 301 on Saturday to move to 605 overall. That is four shots ahead of Princeton (302; 609) and 10 shots ahead of Yale (298; 615). Columbia is in fifth place, behind Penn, at 635.

Individually, Sophomore Amanda Chin tied for Penn's low score on Saturday, a 78, which kept her in the hunt for medalist honors. She is fourth overall at 149. Princeton's Kelly Shon took over the individual lead, shooting a 72 on Saturday to move to 145. Harvard holds the next two spots, with Christine Lin second (73-74--147) and Bonnie Hu third (74-74--148).

Isabel Han shot an 81 on Saturday and is now in 10th place, at 156, while junior Olivia Chang matched Chin's score to tie for Penn's low score of the day, at 78. That put her at 158 through two days, tying her for 14th. Allison Oakes (82; 167) is tied for 25th, while Michelle Lee (85; 169) is tied for 29th.

The Ivy League Championships will conclude Sunday.
