Directions to Rivanna Reservoir

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's rowing team will complete the fall portion of its 2010-11 schedule this Sunday, competing at the University of Virginia's Rivanna Romp in Charlottesville. The Quakers will row two boats in the varsity eight division which sets off at 9 a.m., then one in the novice eight and four in the college fours which are all slated for a 10:30 a.m. start.

In addition to the defending NCAA champion Cavaliers, the Romp will also feature Duke and Old Dominion. All races will take place at the Rivanna Reservoir.

"We are really looking forward to heading South to race some very strong schools we generally do not see very often," said head coach Mike Lane. "It is a great chance to get on the road and help our freshmen get to know our upperclassmen.

"Our goals for the weekend are play with some new lineups, race hard and have no regrets at the end of the race. We are really looking forward to finishing off a very impressive fall on a high note."
