PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's rowing program has been in the habit of putting a boat in the College Championship 8 at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta, and this year is no exception. The Quakers will go out as the No. 18 bow this year at approximately 3:08 p.m. "The Charles is always a great event to go to, the kids love it and it is a chance for us to see many of our recruits and alumni," said head coach Mike Lane. "The race is a challenging one as, we are unable to practice the course so we go into it not knowing what to expect. We will continue to focus on our technical changes as well focus on working together. Sunday should be a fun day for us!" Penn boating |
