2010-11: Honorable mention All-America ... NCAA Championships qualifier and placed 10th overall in epee at the NCAA Championships, with 13 victories (3/24-25) ... Finished the season with a 30-18 overall record ... Finished 8-1 at the Penn State Invitational ... Went 3-0 against defending national champion Penn State and also won three bouts against Duke (1/31) ... Went 3-0 versus Brown at the MIT Invitational (2/6) ... Finished with an 8-7 record at the Ivy League Championships (2/12-13) ... Went 2-1 versus eventual champion Harvard, Princeton and Brown (2/12-13) ... Fenced epee and helped Penn to a tie for the overall team title at the U.S. Weapon Squad Championships (2/27)... Finished seventh at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (3/12).

2009-10: NCAA Championships qualifier ... Concluded the season with a 28-16 overall record ... Earned 3-0 records on three occasions ... Went 3-0 versus eventual national champion Penn State (1/23) ... Finished with a 8-1 mark at the Penn State Invitational (1/23) ... Won three times against Brown (2/21) ... Finished 7-6 at the Ivy League Championships (2/21-28) ... Finished 12th at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in epee and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships (3/13) ... Won nine bouts at the NCAA Championships to finish 17th overall (3/27-28).

2008-09: Ended the season with a 28-17 record … Went 3-0 against NJIT at the Penn Multi-Meet (1/11) … In Ivy bouts, had a 10-5 record … Won all three bouts against Brown (2/8) … Won all 10 of his bouts at the IFA Championships (2/28) to help his team to the epee championship … Also contributed to the men’s three-weapon crown and the overall six-weapon title.


2007-08: Finished the regular season with a 16-11 record ... Started his Penn career with an 8-0 day at the Penn Multi-Meet (12/1) where he won two matches against all four teams he fenced against ... Won five Ivy Round Robin matches, including two each against Columbia (2/3) and Princeton (2/10).


High School: Four-year fencer in high school ... Finished 3rd in 2006 United States Summer Nationals Junior Men’s Epee competition ... Finished 8th in 2007 United States Summer Nationals Junior Men’s Epee competition ... Named to the 2006 Scholastic A—Area fencing team.

 

Personal: Son of Janet and Eric Wischnia ... Competed against Princeton fencer Graham Wicas and Penn State fencer Milton Lindey in high school ... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as an international relations major.
