PHILADELPHIA - Six members of the University of Pennsylvania field hockey team have been named to the 2009 NFHCA National Academic Squad, as released by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.

Seniors Katie Moran and Katie Rose, sophomore Erin Healy, and freshmen Mandy Epstein, Breanne Medford, and Danielle Rothman represented Penn on the squad. This marks Moran's fourth time receiving the honor, and Rose's second.

The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2009-10 academic year. For a list of all Division I field hockey players honored click here.
