Please note that online registration for 2008 Penn Relays will be available March 1. Only requests submitted through the online registration system will be considered. No mail, fax, phone or e-mail requests will be entertained. If you are interested in obtaining a credential and have questions contact Jen Werner in the Athletic Communications Office (215-573-4125).

 

THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST CREDENTIALS ONLINE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 11.

Credentials will not be issued to anyone under 19 years of age.

 

Prior to the Penn Relays (beginning Monday, April 21), media credentials can be picked up at the University of Pennsylvania Athletic Communications office (located at the South end of Weightman Hall, the building at the end of Franklin Field on 33rd and Spruce). During the Relays, credentials can be picked up in the Dunning Coaches' Center (the small building across driveway from Weightman Hall, enter on tennis-court side).

 

No media credentials will be mailed.

 

DO NOT GO TO THE TICKET OFFICE AT FRANKLIN FIELD OR THE PALESTRA.

The Main Media Room for the Relays will be The Board Room in the Dunning Coaches’ Center.

 

PARKING

There is off-campus site that is relatively close. A shuttle service will be in operation 24 hours a day throughout the event to get you to Franklin Field and back.

 

Directions: GOING EAST ON 76 -- Exit 346B (University Ave. & Grays Ferry Ave.) Make a left onto University Avenue. Go over the bridge, then make a right onto Wharton Avenue. At the next intersection make a left onto Warfield Avenue. The lot is on the righthand side, about 200 yards. GOING WEST ON 76 -- Exit 346B (University Ave. & Grays Ferry Ave.) Get into the left lane and make a left onto Wharton Avenue. At the next intersection make a left onto Warfield Avenue. The lot is on the righthand side, about 200 yards.

 

The shuttle will let you off at the southeast corner of 33rd & South Streets (across the street from Franklin Field) and will run continuously every 12-15 minutes.

 

Media members are not required to have a parking pass to park in the assigned lot. There will be a "Relays Media" list at the lot. No parking passes will be mailed. We ask that you go to the lot directly, then take the shuttle to Franklin Field to pick up your credential.
