PHILADELPHIA - After a rookie season where he earned Ivy League Rookie of the Year honors, forward Duke Lacroix is taking his talents to Fort Lauderdale this week, participating in the United States' Under-20 Men's National Team camp.

A veteran of USYNT programs, with an invite to the U-18 camp and caps with the U-15 and U-14 teams, Lacroix will be joining U-20 National Team head coach - and former Men's National Team star - Tab Ramos at the camp to be held Jan. 2-9 with a look towards making the team headed to the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey.

"Duke made a tremendous impact on our program this past year and was one of the top freshmen nationwide. He is obviously a very talented student-athlete and a tremendous young man," Penn head coach Rudy Fuller said. "I am confident he will represent himself and our program well in Florida. His past experience with the National teams at the U-14, U-15 and U-18 levels will serve him well at this camp.  I know that he is excited for the opportunity and is looking forward to getting started."

Honorable mention All-Ivy in addition to his Rookie of the Year award, Lacroix was second-team All-Freshman according to CollegeSoccerNews.com. A starter in all 17 of Penn's matches, Lacroix was twice named Ivy League Rookie of the Week and Philadelphia Soccer Six Player of the Week. He finished tied for second on the team with five goals and ended the season with 12 points.
