PHILADELPHIA - After coming up with a clutch goal in No. 14 Penn's 1-0 win over No. 13 Brown on Saturday, Stephen Baker has been named Ivy League Rookie of the Week.

Baker earned his third Rookie of the Week honor thanks to his eighth goal of the season, a nifty 1v1 play which saw him dribble past reigning first-team All-Ivy goalkeeper Paul Grandstrand and find the back of the net.

Baker's 18 points in 2010 are the team high and tied for most in the Ivy League. His eight goals are the most by any Ivy League player.

Baker and the rest of the Quakers are 12-3-0 overall and 5-0-0 in the Ivy League. This weekend is a pivotal match for Penn as the Red and Blue head to Princeton for a match against the Tigers - who are also 5-0-0 in the Ivy League. Kick-off is slated for 7 p.m. following the Penn-Princeton women's match, which will also determine an Ivy champion.
