PHILADELPHIA -
While the games may have wrapped up three weeks ago, the honors have not for Penn as the Quakers swept all three awards in the final Philadelphia Soccer Six awards cycle. The Red and Blue defeated Harvard, 3-1, in their final contest of 2012, with three dominating performances that were rewarded with recognition as best in the City.

Senior Travis Cantrell was named PS6 Player of the Week after netting one goal and two assists in his final match for the Quakers. Cantrell first assisted on the tying goal just 51 seconds after the Crimson had taken the lead, then added his second helper via a corner kick in the 54th minute to set up the game-winner. In the 65th minute, Cantrell stepped into one final shot, securing a career-high seventh goal in 2012.

Junior goalkeeper Tyler Kinn was named Philadelphia Soccer Six Defensive Player of the Week after registering the win over Harvard. After conceding a goal in the third minute, Kinn buckled down with six saves for the win. He made four of those saves in the second half, giving his team a chance to complete the comeback. In the 85th minute, Kinn made his biggest save on a breakaway to maintain the two-goal cushion. Kinn previously earned a PS6 honor with his Co-Player of the Week selection on Nov. 7 of last season.

Freshman Sam Engs notched his first career game-winning goal in the win over the Crimson to pick up his second career PS6 Rookie of the Week honors. Engs got his head on a Jonny Dolezal lob pass in the 54th minute to break a 1-1 tie, sending Penn to its first Ivy League win of the season.

The Philadelphia Soccer Six will announce its yearly award winners at its banquet in February.
