WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – The Penn men’s squash team had another close match on Friday, this time a 5-4 loss to No. 12 Williams (2-2) in Williamstown, Mass. For the Quakers (2-2), this is their third match of the season to be decided by one point.

Penn continued to get positive results from senior captain Danny Greenberg and freshman No. 5 Liam Quinn, both of whom won their matches in straight sets for their second consecutive victories. In addition, junior No. 7 Daniel Judd managed to stay unbeaten on the young season after a tough, five-set win over his Williams counterpart. Junior No. 4 John Dudzik also added in his first victory of the season.

Unfortunately, those performances were not enough for the Quakers as they lost another tough one. Four of Penn’s five losses came with it winning at least one set, two of which were five-set losses. The Red and Blue are now 29-10 all-time versus the Ephs, whose win was their first against Penn since Jan. 19, 2002 in Philadelphia.

The Quakers will return to the Ringe Squash Courts to host Navy on Dec. 6 for their first home match of the season.
