Past and Present Squash Members Compete at World Team Doubles |

TORONTO, Canada - Three members of former Penn squash teams, along with
current men's player Trevor McGuinness competed in the World Doubles
Championships in Toronto recently. In addition to McGuinness, McGuinness teamed up with Scharff, but would fall in the first round to the Khan brothers from Pakistan, 3-1. Bassett and his partner, Dylan Patterson, drew the No. 3/4 seed in the first round and came up on the wrong end of the 3-0 score. On the women's side, Friedly Gray experienced success as she and partner Amy Milanek advanced all the way to the tournament semifinals. Friedly Gray's pairing nearly advanced to the finals of the World Team Doubles tournament, but fell 3-2 to the eventually tournament champions. |
