BOSTON – The University of Pennsylvania men’s squash team fell in the College Squash Association’s (CSA) Potter Cup consolation semifinal Saturday afternoon, 8-1, to St. Lawrence (N.Y.).

Penn (8-6), ranked eighth, fell in its second straight Potter Cup match, after losing to No. 1 Harvard on Friday, 9-0.

The Quakers saw junior Michael Mutscheller win their only match of the afternoon, 3-0, in the No. 5 position on the ladder. John Dudzik, Jack Maine, Augie Frank and Benton Turner all forced a fourth game in their matches, but were unable to reach a fifth and deciding game.

Penn will play one more match in the Potter Cup before returning to Philadelphia, playing on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the 7-8 playoff match. The Quakers will face either No. 6 Rochester or fellow Ivy No. 7 Cornell.
