Richard Dodd
Position: Assistant Coach

Penn assistant coach Richard Dodd is in his second season with the Quakers in 2014-15, after helping lead the men's team to a No. 8 ranking in the country, and their first CSA Potter Cup since 2009, and the women's team to a No. 4 ranking a season ago.

Prior to Penn, Dodd was a four-year standout at Yale, and received the John F. Skillman ’67 Award for his contribution to the squash program in his senior season, and finished the season ranked No. 24 nationally.  As a junior, Dodd received honorable mention All-America recognition, and as a sophomore was named second team All-America and All-Ivy.

Hailing from Benoni, South Africa, Dodd attended Parktown Boys’ High School.  A 2007 South African National Junior champion, he represented South Africa at the World Junior Men’s Squash Championships in New Zealand and ranked as high as second nationally in the under-23 age group.

Dodd has prior coaching experience with Elm City, St. Dunstan’s College and Ultimate Squash.
